A single source of energy powers this planet
and connects us both in the interwoven mesh.
Though old souls, we strive on within.
Still jaded by the ways of without
and forever longing for what we can't have.
We've found each other,
perhaps as in other lifetimes past,
drawn together by the force of fate
as the message is spelled out
in the cards.
